 ivin-It-Up.net has closed. Sad but true – but the good news is, it existed in the first place. Like many other staff members, I'm glad I could be a part of something so awesome (even if only for a little while). The closure had been imminent for some time, and although there are specific reasons that contributed to the ultimate decision, it was simply time to turn off the lights and move on. Even though I wasn't there long, I'll still have a lot of respect for C and NK and wish them and their families well. LIU isn't gone or forgotten – the affiliate sites Persimmon Grove and Mermaid Cove are still going, and much of the Sims 1 fan community is being preserved through the efforts of folks like Boo at Saving The Sims. To my knowledge, the best places to check on the whereabout of LIU files and staff – and several other closed sites – are the Saving the Sims' Yahoo groups. A big ol' "Happy Trails" to everyone involved with LIU over the years, fare thee well, don't be a stranger, and thonsivee :)  latest update: Oct.23.05
